Porcha Reed holds licensures as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in the state of North Carolina. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fayetteville State University.

When it comes to Therapy, she employs an eclectic style and tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the individual needs of the client. Her therapeutic approaches include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brain Spotting, EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Play Therapy. She believes that people need to feel safe and accepted in order for growth to occur. She has experience working with individuals, couples, families, groups, small children, teens, adolescents, adults, and military.  She especially enjoys working with children, and has specialized training in Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Traumatized Children and their Families.
